Project Description

This 20,000 sq. ft. VA Outpatient Clinic, located in Spokane Valley, WA is part of the Mann-Grandstaff VA Medical Center healthcare system. Working within the footprint of an existing, vacant building, we were able to effectively arrange the PACT model layout within this space providing the VA with a cost-effective solution to provide a more relaxed atmosphere to meet Veterans needs without having to travel into the expansive medical center campus in nearby Spokane. Likewise, this outpost location will be able to offer relief to the staff at the medical center by arranging for less critical patient care outside the main campus. Working closely with Mr. Grimes and the rest of the VA Team, we have been able to expedite the completion of this clinic well in advance of the lease mandated deadline while finding creative solutions to work around electrical switchgear delivery delays. Hamstra Builders, in conjunction with Juliet Development, is now working towards activating janitorial and other maintenance contracts as we set up to begin clinic operations of this twenty-year lease.
