Featured Article:The Hamstra Group Completes New Bank Branch on Historic Oxford Town Square
For more than 120 years, Alliance Bank has been a cornerstone of the Oxford, Indiana community. This August, the bank officially opened its doors to the new 4,179-square-foot branch at 201 S. Howard Street, marking a new chapter in its long history.
The Hamstra Group served as the general contractor, successfully delivering this project ahead of time. This project’s scope included transforming a property where a long-vacated grocery store stood into a modern banking facility along the Town’s main corridor. The new bank branch now sits on the southeast corner of the historic Oxford Town Square, on the opposite corner where the bank has operated since the early 1900s.
The project was managed by Curt Albertson and a skilled crew including Bill Dykstra, Josh Vickery, Steve Miller, and Ryon Klemp. K4 Architecture + Design was the design partner on the project. Construction began in October 2025, with a tight schedule aimed for a Fall 2026 opening….
